Happy Mother's Day!
Hey all! As you all know it's Mother's Day today!
Why should we celebrate this day you ask? Well... it's to honor our Moms for everything that they have done. Just think... aren't we all lucky to have Moms who care about us and give us advice when we need it? Yeah so appreciate what you have.
See ya!

Skills Camp 09 (Continued 2)
Hey there! Lets continue where I left off.
So after presenting our stuff to the Seniors we had to clean up and return to the urus setia for further instructions. Well... Sir told us that we had to clean up, take a short nap and move our stuff at the basketball to the class at the most right of block H. The reason for this was the tent had to be taken down for the softball players to practice. All the hard work building the tents was wasted. :-(
After everything was moved, the Form 1s and Form 2s were supposed to take a nap. But nooo...
Instead they were eating and making noise which led to getting us scolded by Sir.
After taking a short nap the Form 3s woke us up and it was time for S.H.I.T. (Super Heros In Training). Yeah so after a briefing from Sir Colin we quickly completed most of the 'halangan komando' and then it was time for us to go and take at bath befor MK (Malam Kebudayaan).
MK was awsome! The MCs were Joanna Wong, Kar Wen and Amanda Fan. Kai Liang's patrol was obivously the best for that night. Nice costumes. Here are some pictures:
Here are more:
The Seniors! From left: Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Superman and I forgot the last one sorry! XP
Patrol Batman!! XD

Lol so many flags. =-)
I'm not really sure what this is. Can you see the 37?
Congratulations to Ooi Chin Tak (Troop Leader), Joanna Wong (Secretary), Jian Wen (Assistant Secretary), Weng Hong (Treasurer), Rong Jie and Kar Wen (Quatermasters). XD

Flags galore:
After MK we had the stepping up and stepping down ceremony.
Then Sir Colin gave out some certs for the PLs, APLs, people who pass Rambu and some other people who have shown leadership in the troop. After that we had supper and we had to go sleep in the Pavillion. We managed to see Chee Ming getting floured by the other Seniors. He never did looked so white.
Day 3
We were supposed to wake up at 6.30a.m. Instead we woke up an hour later. Luckily we weren't scolded for waking up an hour late. Anyways, we cooked breakfast and cleaned up the classroom where we put our bags. The QMAs had to get the pots, saw, stove and the other stuff and put it in front of the Pavillion.
Then the PLs, APLs and QMMs had to cook lunch while the others were told to clean up the rest of the school. Nice mee hoon Nicholas. I don't have a picture but it sure tasted good. Then we had to clean up the Pavillion and present the food to Sir Jeremy. He liked it and said that it tasted like prawns. Thats because we added some. LOL!
Then we had penguin football speed because we did not have enough time. Then everyone got ready for the closing ceremony. Sir Colin gave his closing speech and awarded some people.
Best PL: Lucas Tan (obviously)
Best APL:Lee Liang Jun
Best Patrol: Patrol Green Lantern
Best Junior Scout: Oliver See
There are more but I forgot. Then we dismissed and went home. Some people stay to help to clean up the school though.
The Justice League of America (The Junior Patrol Leaders)
From left: Batman(Me), Firestorm(Calvin Yong), The Flash(Tan Wilson), Huntress(Lucas Tan), Wonder Woman(Bryan Win), Zatanna(Loganathan), Red Tornado(Jia Yuin) and Green Lantern(Nadia).

Skills Camp 09 (Continued)
Yeah here I am again to continue my post on Skills Camp 09. Before I continue posting, here is a picture of the Camp Scarf:

Like I said on my previous post, we had to get up at 6.30 for morning exercise. So with the seniors conducting the exercise, the juniors had to run around the basketball court three times.
Then every patrol were given a loaf of bread and a can of kaya. Yes, we had to open the can using our own personal can opener. Everyone had like only fifteen minutes to eat and prepare for morning inspection which was at like 7.
My patrol was supposed to be the first but we were not really ready at 7. Luckily Sir was kind enough to give us some extra time to prepare. Morning inspection took some time as there were eight patrols that needed to be inspected. The seniors also check our campsite to make sure that it was clean and organized. Note to self: NEVER make a shoe rack for four people when the patrol has nine people.
After morning inspection, Sir and the seniors told us to pack up, clean up the remaining rubbish around the campsite and strengthen the tent (the tent looks like it was gonna fall). Then, we had to prepare for 'Istiadat'. This 'Istiadat' was the last for Chee Ming kor kor. :0 :(
Then Sir Jeremy awarded Patrol Huntress the 'Best Patrol' award. So Patrol Huntress had the Best Patrol Scarf. I don't have a picture of if but it's blue and has yellow trim.
Then we had backwoods at 'The Dungeon' aka block G. Sir wanted us to roast our chicken instead of Fiji style. Every patrol were given one whole chicken, eggs, flour and yeast. We also brought our mini 'cangkul', 'periuks' and of course the dry wood and leaves. We divided the work among ourselves to make sure that the job was done in time. We started at about 10 a.m. and we were supposed to present our chicken to Sir at 1 in the afternoon.
Immidiately Nicholas (QMM Patrol Bataman) made sure that the chicken was cleaned and the other PBs started digging a hole to start the fire and shave some wood to roast the chicken and cook the 'roti lilit'. This time I made the 'roti lilit' dough and Li Wei (APL Patrol Batman) helped me to wrap it around the shaved sticks. This time the dough was awsome! :-)
Then we roasted the chicken on the fire. Before roasting, we marinated the chicken in egg and seasoned it with salt and pepper. This time we managed to cook the chicken and 'roti lilit' as the amber was HOT. Yeah no raw chicken and bread. :-)
Potatoes and eggs were also managed to be cooked. After presenting the food to the seniors (Sir was busy at that time), we cleaned up and went back to the pavilion.
Thats all for tonight. I'll continue next week as I can't go online on the
weekdays and I have to sleep now.

Skills Camp 09
Hi all! It's me Szen and it's been about a mouth since I posted something on the blog. Thats because I'm so busy with you know stuff, stuff and Skills Camp.
Yes... Skills Camp was... I don't know what to say... how about...

There were eight Form 1 and 2 patrols and four Form 3 patrols. Here they are according to alphabetic order:
Form 1 and 2 patrols:
So... camp started at 8.00 p.m. . But as usual some people came late and we had to start a bit later. After registering we had to move our bags to the pavilion and arrange them according to patrols. After that, we had a short briefing by Sir Jeremy and Sir Colin and then we had to build our tents.
Everyone started rushing to find a campsite and to get bamboos. That's because the first tent up and ready was given 80 points. Yes 80 points. So you can imagine everyone busy sawing bamboo and tripod lashing them to get those precious 80 points. We had ice breaking at about 11.30 p.m.
Jared was pro at scissors-paper-stone that he beat everyone and our team won. :)
Then we played the bomb game. LOL. Only two teams kept bombing each other so the third team didn't really play.
After that we had to go to a classroom for a briefing with Sir about how to light a carbide lamp (did I spell that right?). I was the Patrol Leader on duty for that night and had to report. Lol I was so nervous. Well it was my first time reporting hahahaa. After that we had supper and then the Seniors were giving out the Camp Scarf. I don't have a picture of it now but I will definately post a picture soon.
After supper we continued building our tents. If I'm not wrong, Patrol Zatanna was the first tent up and ready. Congratulations!!! XD. So 80 points to them. My patrol aka Patrol Batman was the last to finish. Yeah we finished at about 4.45 in the morning. We only had about like an hour and a half of sleep as we had to wake up at 6.30 for morning exercise.
Well I'm tired. I'll continue posting in the morning.
Goodnight,

I think I'm gonna be dead by the end of this week, I have ballet like twice a week coz the exam is next week... o.o
Btw, tomorrow is mssd!!! Singles tomorrow and doubles on tuesday.. You won't see me and Claudia in school for the next four days if we make it to the finals..hopefully*cross fingers* I have to wake up at like 6.45 in the morning!! We're wearing matching oufits for doubles...haha maybe we'll confuse our opponents...hehehe
Anyways, good luck to all those other DJians who are going for mssd.. I heard there's also basketball and volleyball tomorrow. Make DJ proud!! I hope there's not much homework...XD

TTC 09
Yeah just came back from TTC (Tenderfoot Training Course) three days ago.
I've got only one thing to say:
I've got only one thing to say:
IT WAS AWESOME!
Here was what we did during camp:
Day 1:
This was before camp started. What are you looking at Lucas?
Lol Wee Han...
After that we did... hold on... a little bit longer... BACKWOODS!!!
Ayam panggang and roti lilit... Not cooked yet though.
Patrol Tiong hard at work.
What is Yuzeem doing? o.0
The final result...
In the end, the chicken wasn't really cooked inside. Only one of the drumsticks were cooked. But we managed to cook the potato and egg. Oh wait... Wee Han dropped the egg. Oh well...
Anyways, after lunch, we did pioneering. Some pictures:

Anyways, after lunch, we did pioneering. Some pictures:
It was burning hot when we did this. The recruits were doing backwoods under the shade...
Most of us went to get water to drink. Wei Liang brought a 1.5 liter bottle of water. All of us drank some. Poor him...
After pioneering we all had some free time to think of what to do during MK ( Malam Kebudayaan). We all came up with some random stuff. =/
Don't have pictures of MK as the camera did not have enough memory. Sad... =(
MK lasted for about 3 hours. The MCs kept us awake with some games and songs. XD

Day 2:
In the morining we woke up at about 6.15. The recruits were already up b efore us and they made loads of noise (well not loads of noise... just enough to wake us up). After that, we had our morning exercise and breakfast. And then we played crab football:
